## What Rotizo Is

A web-based SaaS for rental businesses:

Rotizo is NOT ERP, accounting, warehouse management, or sales CRM.

## Core Workflow

1. Add client
2. Add equipment to catalog (fleet client „Flota” holds shop-owned gear)
3. Create rental with start and end dates
4. Equipment status becomes „rented”
5. Calendar shows start (green) and end (orange/red if overdue)
6. Owner receives e-mail before return deadline
7. Mark rental completed when equipment is returned → equipment becomes available

- available — ready to rent
- rented — currently on active rental within date range
- service — temporarily unavailable
- retired — removed from active fleet

## Rental Statuses

- active — ongoing or past end date awaiting manual completion
- completed — returned and closed
- cancelled — voided

## Notifications (MVP)

E-mails go to the **system user** (shop owner), not the end customer:

- 1 day before end date
- on end date
- when overdue

SMS to end customers is a potential Plus feature, not in MVP.
